On May 19-21, the UC Davis Department of Native American Studies will host the official meeting of the Native American and Indigenous Studies Association (NAISA). The conference will be held at the Hyatt Regency in Sacramento, California

Conference Highlights:

The Welcome and Blessing of the NAISA Conference will take place at the opening session on May 19, from 8:15-9:30am.

"Literary Potlatch," Thursday evening, May 19, 2011, 8-10pm, organized and co-hosted by Beth Piatote and Craig Santos Perez, Capitol View Room, Hyatt Regency

The NAISA 2011 reception will take place on Friday evening, May 20, 2011, fro 6-10pm at the California State Museum, in conjunction with the recently inaugurated exhibit:
